Role: Provide direct pre- and post-operative nursing care to patients in a specialized ENT and plastic/reconstructive surgery unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and clinical status before and after surgery.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans.
- Support patient recovery through evidence-based nursing interventions.
- Provide patient and family education to promote safe care and recovery.
- Coordinate and communicate with the interprofessional healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Registered nursing credentials with perioperative and post-operative experience.
- Strong assessment, documentation, and care-planning skills.
- Excellent patient/family communication and teaching abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within an interprofessional team.
- Competence in managing patient needs in a specialized surgical unit.
