Acute Medicine Registered Nurse to provide evidence-based, high-quality care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute medical unit.
Key Duties- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing clinical monitoring.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
- Coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team to support optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, treatment, and discharge instructions.
- Support safe, effective discharges and continuity of care.
- Participate in quality and safety initiatives to improve care delivery.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure.
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary care coordination.
- Commitment to patient education, safety, and continuous quality improvement.
