Clinical Nurse (GI/GU) provides specialized nursing care for patients with gastrointestinal and genitourinary conditions in a collaborative, mission-driven healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
- Administer medications and infusions per clinical orders.
- Support and assist with GI/GU procedures as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and manage complex care plans to optimize outcomes.
- Provide clear education to patients and families to support understanding and self-care.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to promote safety, evidence-based practice, and quality care.
- Registered nursing credentials with demonstrated competency in GI/GU patient care.
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency with medication administration, infusions, and procedural support.
- Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement.
