Quality Assurance Technician (3rd Shift)

Join Nature's Bakery as a Quality Assurance Technician on the 3rd shift. This role is essential for monitoring all QA and food safety activities, testing and inspecting products at various stages of the production process, and compiling and evaluating statistical data to ensure product quality and reliability.

Pay: Starting at $24 per hour.
2nd & 3rd shift earn a shift differential: $1.25 per hour extra.

• Provide support to the Quality Assurance Management team.
• Achieve quality assurance operational objectives.
• Perform tests at specified stages in the production process, record results, review records and reports for accuracy.
• Evaluate data and write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Recommend modifications to quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality.
• Complete special projects assigned.
• Analyze incoming dry goods for production and verify specifications before and during production.
• Problem solve quality issues with production and other teams.
• Document key metrics for data analysis and maintain calibration and logs of lab instruments.
• General analysis and sampling of production samples and collect retention samples.

• Basic understanding of QA standards and protocols.
• Food safety & documentation experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role with relevant testing (manual, automated, performance).
• Familiarity with the 4 points of QA.
• Proficient written & verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Food/Beverage manufacturing experience a bonus.
