Responsibilities- Maintain strict compliance with all company safety and quality procedures, including PPE assessment (SDS), hazard reporting, and participation in safety initiatives
- Complete all required technical and safety training promptly and assist with training new teammates on specific assays
- Schedule and perform routine and complex assays according to established protocols, ensuring high-priority tasks are met first
- Accurately analyze test results and communicate outcomes, deviations, or unexpected observations to supervisors immediately
- Document all laboratory activities (testing, maintenance, and calibration) using official quality systems and change control processes
- Support laboratory operations by preparing reagents (buffers, gels, standards), managing inventory, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration, ensuring all instrumentation is ready for use and properly documented
- Participate in lean process improvements, non-conformance investigations (RCA), and pre-audit activities to ensure continuous quality
- Achieve departmental volume goals and deadlines through effective time management and a willingness to shift focus to critical daily tasks
- Collaborate respectfully with teammates and participate in cross-training to support changing business and laboratory demands
- Wear appropriate PPE (including respirator)
- Lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or other Life Science discipline
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Proficient in laboratory math skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to adapt to changing roles throughout the organization, based on business demands
- Experience with all hazard classes of chemicals
Pay Range for this position - $23.00-$44.00 hourly
The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance-based bonuses. Benefits offered by the Company include health insurance, paid time off (PTO), retirement contributions, and other perquisites.
