** Where You’ll Make a Difference
*** Develop new food ingredient products based on commercial specifications.
* Work closely with R&D to identify market trends, consumer needs, and product specifications.
* Monitor the product development process from concept to manufacturing and distribution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations) to ensure successful product launches.
* Analyze product performance and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
* Lead technical projects from experimental design to completion, including testing and analytical procedures.
* Prepare standards and product materials under minimal supervision.
* Participate in customer visits, answer technical questions, and conduct seminars/presentations.
* Provide technical services such as plant trials, troubleshooting, and training; travel up to 30% required.
** What Makes You the Right Fit
*** Minimum 4 years of experience in industrial food, pharmaceutical, ingredients, or flavor industry.
* At least 1 year of experience in beverage applications.
* BS in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related disciplines.
* Strong communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage projects and work independently in a laboratory/pilot plant environment.
* Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and handling hazardous materials.
* Master’s degree preferred.
* Knowledge of food safety, raw materials, food regulations, sanitation, and production processes.
* Demonstrated discriminative organoleptic skills.
