GRILL COOK (TEMPORARY)

Compass One Healthcare is hiring a temporary Grill Cook is Children’s Hospital. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until this position is filled.

Prepares food and serves customers at the grill station in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards to ensure high‑quality food service.

• Takes orders and prepares items requiring short preparation. Completes orders from steam tables and serves customers at multiple stations.
• Serves customers efficiently and friendly, following established service steps and ensuring food is at the correct temperature.
• Uses established ticket‑collection procedures during service and records area work during service periods.
• Uses approved recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and portion control.
• Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from workstations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
• Stores foods in designated areas following food safety and rotation procedures.
• Cleans, sanitizes and maintains all assigned work areas, equipment and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
• Resolves customer concerns and reports information to supervisor.
• Attends in‑service and safety meetings and maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
• Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous grill cook experience preferred.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Fixed Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.
