Position: Banquet Staff
Location: St. LouisBallpark Village is the center for St. Louis regional entertainment, hosting more than an estimated 4.5 million visitors annually with 150-plus events per year. We are located in the heart of the central business district and adjacent to Busch Stadium, surrounded by parking and have unprecedented highway access for the region. Our facility contains more than 100,000 sq. ft. of retail and entertainment including flagship anchors like Cardinals Hall of Fame Museum, Cardinals Nation Restaurant, and Anheuser-Busch Brew House.
Banquet Server Responsibilities:
Take information from Banquet Event Order and set up buffets with Food presentation standards and practices in mind, ensuring safe food handling performance.Assist with food and buffet table prep before the event begins. Ascertain that all equipment and dishes/utensils on the buffet table are clean.Stock plates and utensils, replenish as needed.Communicate with kitchen to ensure timely pick-up of food and then transport food from the kitchen to the banquet space.Communicate with Banquet Manager/Supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers.Buss event space and keep buffet replenished as needed.Break down, clean/sanitize the buffet tables, clean up venue at the end of event and ensure that all equipment is taken back and all catering dishes are returned from the dish room to the store room.Banquet Server
Skills:
High School Diploma/GED.At least 1 year Banquet Server/set up experience.Knowledge of Catering/Food & Beverage practices preferred.Ability to work quickly and as a team in a fast-paced environment.This job requires ability to perform the following:
Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.Moving about multiple function areas including outdoor spaces.Bending, stooping, standing and kneeling.Apply at - Click on Bally Sports Live! and apply under Event Staff.
