Food Service Worker; Part Time

Job Overview

Chartwells School Dining Services K12 is seeking part‑time Food Service Workers to serve students in Saint Louis, MO. Position is based at Confluence Academies, 611 North 10th Street, Suite 525, Saint Louis, MO 63101 and applications are accepted online only.

• Schedule: Part‑time, Monday‑Friday, hours may vary (details upon interview).
• Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour.
• Requirement: Previous experience preferred; willing to train.
• Referral Bonus: Internal employee referrals may receive a bonus.

• Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
• Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations in accordance with safety standards.
• Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
• Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
• Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
