We’re looking for a resilient, purpose‑driven leader who can execute product, labor, and customer demand metrics. The Team Leader will manage people, non‑inventory processes, account management, and problem solving, serving as the front‑line contact for team members and business partners.

• Lead daily operations: customer delivery (or pickup) orders, labor scheduling, regulatory compliance, and special projects.
• Manage the In‑Store Shopper team (Associate Team Leaders, Supervisors, and members) to ensure orders are fulfilled and customers are delighted.
• Hire, train, and support team members, addressing their needs so they can focus on customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with store leadership to drive operational improvement in KPIs and compliance with SOPs.
• Monitor customer flows, direct team members to meet demands, and respond promptly to customer needs.
• Oversee scheduling of the In‑Store Shopper Team to meet staffing metrics and capacity.
• Foster a positive environment of teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Provide timely, thorough performance evaluations.
• Maintain cleanliness of all department areas, staging area, and coolers; keep inventory stocked and rotated.
• Consistently model WFM Leadership Principles and Core Values.

• 24+ months retail experience, including 12+ months in a supervisory or leadership role.
li>High school diploma or equivalent.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Experience leading high‑volume teams.
• Ownership mindset, available for overtime during peak seasons, and flexible to work nights, weekends, etc.
• Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office, and operations‑related applications (scheduling, ordering software).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and hit deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven solutions.
• History of volunteering to lead projects and driving results.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and affinity for Whole Foods products and values.
• Knowledge of new products, item location, pricing, and market trends.
• Long‑term thinking and focus on large‑scale impact.
