Salary: $16.00/hr (max 25 hrs/week)
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. Acquires and maintains knowledge of represented products; prepares, serves, and breaks down product, equipment, and supplies; intercepts consumers and demonstrates products professionally; maintains a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Possess aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
- Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, and use Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
- Education:
High school diploma, GED, or one‑to‑three months of related experience/training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Computer:
Proficient in using personal computer or mobile device to navigate applications and internal systems. - Certificates:
Local food‑handler permit may be required. - Language:
English primary; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity. - Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs (occasionally 50 lbs), pushing a wheeled cart, using hand tools and small appliances, reaching up to 65 inches, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing/stepping ladders, maintaining balance, and handling cleaning supplies.
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Professional AppearanceEnsure a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance per retailer dress code requirements.
