Accountabilities- Sell Continua’s Complete Product and Services Portfolio
- Prioritize Team Resources
- Maintain & Grow Existing & New Business
- Gross Profit
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities that fit within Continua’s target market of customers.
- Understand key market segments, leverage a consultative sales approach, and demonstrate market knowledge to win new business.
- Build trust, credibility, and nurture collaborative relationships with key buying influencers.
- Conduct diagnostic meetings to determine needs, buying motivation, and purchase criteria.
- Clarify the nature of a challenge, evaluate alternatives, and propose solutions.
- Secure preferred pricing structures, negotiate contract terms and conditions as directed by management and secure final confirmation and signed agreements.
- Ensure that the project, product, and service commitments exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain records of account contact and sales activity: track, analyze, and report results.
- Provide timely and accurate monthly sales forecasts.
- Manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, allocate time, and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Actively participate in sales training, continuing education, networking events, and sales and company meetings
- Understand and follow Continua’s sales process along with supporting team member processes to lead a successful project from start to finish.
- Create a strong team culture and dynamic by supporting team members and being integrated in the project process.
- Lead customer presentations, interviews, tours, and RFP proposals.
- 7-10 years proven sales or design success in commercial office furniture or related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or related field.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
- Strong interpersonal communication.
- Ability to present ideas, positions, proposals, and solutions in a thoughtful yet compelling manner.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work within a fluctuating sales cycle as well as internal and external decision makers.
- Works effectively within a well-defined business process.
- Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. This position may require travel between offices, jobsites, and/or client locations, which may involve extended periods of sitting or standing, lifting light luggage, and adapting to different time zones.
