• Sells international and domestic travel packages including cruises, land packages, itineraries, air, car, and hotel.
• Shares knowledge and expertise from personal experiences and education trips.
• Builds long‑standing relationships with members and generates referral and repeat business.
• Recommends travel solutions that exceed member expectations.
• Cross‑sells additional products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identity theft protection.

• A high school diploma is required; a 2‑ or 4‑year college degree is preferred.
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and thorough drug screening.
• Prefer candidates with at least 2 years of retail sales, banking, or leisure travel experience in a goal‑oriented environment.

• Travel is a passion, not just a hobby.
• Available to work most Saturdays and some evenings.
• Successfully completes the Travel Consultant Trainee program which includes training travel.
• Driven by sales and exceeding goals.
• Computer‑savvy, able to navigate multiple systems, type at least 30 WPM.
• Organized and comfortable with paperwork.
