The Sr. Client Service Executive manages a strategic national client, working closely with client team leaders, client teams, and Business Development Managers across the country, as well as support departments, to ensure all client standards are met. - Ensure all base authorization, new distribution, retail pricing, shelving, and promotional guidelines are met within assigned markets or customers.
- Coordinate sales presentations for key customers and clients to demonstrate sales accomplishments and identify opportunities.
- Sell business‑building ideas to customers using syndicated data such as Nielsen, IRI, Spectra, and other demographic data.
- Develop comprehensive strategies and solutions for key client accounts.
- Achieve incremental growth by pursuing volume‑producing merchandising at assigned customer accounts.
- Develop effective client and retailer relationships to facilitate communication and execution with internal departments, ensuring deliverables are achieved.
- Identify development potential in accounts by studying current business and evaluating additional needs; analyze opportunities.
- Build relationships, qualify potential, and develop proposals to support the sales process.
- Lead client programs from conception through completion by managing deadlines, coordinating details, reviewing final documents, and controlling costs.
- Anticipate potential issues based on experience and proactively create solutions that are equitable for clients and Advantage.
- Mentor and advise lower‑level professionals, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8 years of experience in sales, sales management, or HQ account management within the consumer packaged goods industry or a sales and marketing agency.
- Experience in strategic planning of marketing campaigns.
- Prior experience as a Business Development Manager, HQ Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or Retail Operations professional.
- Highly analytical with a keen understanding of syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and client‑relations skills.
- Creative thinker and self‑starter who can handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Project management and presentation skills.
- Able to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
