Responsibilities

This is a full-time, onsite Salesperson role based in St Louis, MO. The Salesperson will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, and delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves conducting client consultations, presenting SSI’s range of specialized construction products, and collaborating with the team to meet sales goals. Additionally, the Salesperson will provide product recommendations, address client inquiries, and assist with project solutions tailored to specific needs in the construction industry.

Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively
  • Sales, negotiation, and business development skills, coupled with a goal-oriented mindset
  • Product knowledge or experience in construction materials, sealants, adhesives, and related products is highly advantageous
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, especially in identifying client needs and recommending solutions
  • Organizational and time management skills for handling multiple accounts and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a diverse team
  • Prior sales experience in the construction or building materials industry is preferred
