** Compensation Range
** Hourly: $26.70 - $31.50 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
** About This Job
** The main purpose of this job is to play a critical role in building a new branch’s market presence by driving new to bank growth through proactive outreach, relationship building, and referral generation. This role operates with a strong outside the branch focus, supporting the Branch’s growth strategy while delivering an exceptional, client first experience.  
** Work Schedule*
* * Monday - Friday 8:15 AM - 5:15 PM, Saturday 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM  
** Essential Functions*
* * Actively represent the bank outside the branch through community events, onsite employer visits, tabling, lunch‐and‐learns, and educational sessions
* Build, manage, and continuously refine a robust prospect pipeline focused on new‐to‐bank client acquisition
* Proactively develop and maintain a strong network of referral sources, including internal partners and external community contacts
* Identify, pursue, and close new consumer banking relationships while expanding and deepening existing client relationships
* Partner with branch leadership and product specialists on joint calls to deliver coordinated, holistic solutions for clients
* Deliver a consistent, differentiated retail banking experience aligned with the branch’s growth and client experience strategy
* Actively listen to client needs and provide tailored recommendations, solutions, and referrals
* Turn service interactions into relationship‐building and growth opportunities
* Maximize customer experience while supporting achievement of individual and branch goals, within the Commerce Bank Customer Experience framework
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of prospecting activities, pipeline progression, and forecasts using bank systems
* Operate with autonomy and accountability—managing time, priorities, and outreach plans without constant direction
* Collaborate closely with branch teammates to support Agile execution of growth initiatives and community strategies.
* Participate in team huddles, outreach planning, and feedback loops to continuously improve results
* Perform other duties as assigned

* * Strong sales orientation with demonstrated ability to engage clients in person, by phone, and in off‐site environments
* Ability to generate referrals and sell through relationship‐based conversations
* Need-based, consultative approach to identifying and meeting client goals
* Proven ability to convert prospects into long‐term client relationships
* Ability to operate in a fast‐paced, goal‐driven, growth‐focused environment
