CareSTL Health is seeking Public Safety Officers
. Public Safety Officers are responsible for ensuring the routine safety and wellbeing of all staff, visitors, and patients across each of the organization's health center locations.
The following information is considered the definition of essential functions but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. The Public Safety Officer may be reassigned duties and responsibilities at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other staffing reasons. Other duties may be assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS EducationHigh School Diploma/GED as applicable
• Higher education as applicable
Must have 1-3 years of related experience in security. Experience in security in a healthcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Good oral and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and self-motivational skills.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to travel up 20% of the time.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification as applicable.
- Shall obtain an Armed or Unarmed Security License through St. Louis County Private Security Division on the first day of employment with CareSTL Health.
- Completed all training courses that St. Louis County Private Security Division requires to maintain a valid Armed Security License.
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
