• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following appropriate emergency response protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal policies.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns or incidents.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related emergencies that may arise during the shift.

• At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
