Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Security Officer. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be responsible for spotting threats before they upscale in environments such as a security operations center, call center, parking gatehouse, and more. Your sharp eye and attention to detail are essential to this role.

St. Louis, MO - Schedule:
Full-Time, 2nd Shift, Tuesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Competitive hourly wage of $23 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees)

- Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- Two years of security and leadership experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an armed license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Pass an extensive screening process
- Strong report writing skills
- Excellent visual activity and concentration skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience is preferred
- State license if required
Employment is contingent upon a successful background check and drug screening conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
