Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer - Armed Financial Site Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors.
You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver outstanding customer service while upholding our company values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation. This armed position offers an engaging opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, including during emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate de-escalation techniques.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the location to help to deter potential threats and support a secure atmosphere.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
- Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and site staff to address security-related concerns and uphold the standards of the financial institution environment.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to alarms, emergencies, or other incidents that may arise during shifts.
- Comply with all licensing requirements and maintain appropriate certifications for carrying a firearm while on duty, following all applicable laws and company policies.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
