Job Description

As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the financial institution environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain awareness of activities within the premises.
  • Document observations and report security-related incidents or concerns to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal and/or the client site management.
  • Support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and clients while maintaining a visible security-related presence.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to uphold site-specific protocols and respond to evolving situations as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
