Security Officer

River City Casino & Hotel is looking for a dedicated Security Officer to ensure the safety of our guests and staff.

Shift: Swing 2:30 pm‑11 pm, Grave 10:30 pm‑7 am
Pay: $17.50 per hour

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees with first aid and respond to all medical requests.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions promptly.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and proper procedures.
• Check identification to ensure guests are over 21.
• Perform fills, credits, exchanges, and ticket transfers for departments as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• Stand and move actively during entire shift, walking, using hands, and remaining physically active.
• Respond calmly in emergency or stressful situations.
• Provide assistance to guests and their needs.

• Minimum age 21.
• Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• CPR certification (AED provided).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to run on level surfaces, up and down stairs.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency or stressful situations.
• Must write clear, accurate, and concise reports.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.
