• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• One to two years of on-the-job training in painting, plastering, taping, light carpentry and hanging wall coverings.
• Ability to follow directions, as well as problem-solve independently on the job.
• Must possess a sense of responsibility, initiative, and honesty.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel between locations.
• Must be able to see colors.
• Requires ability to coordinate multiple painting/renovation projects at the same time.
• Extensive mobility required, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs, push, pull and move supplies and equipment.
• Work will be required in confined spaces for certain assignments.
• Ability to concentrate on moderate detail with constant interruption required.
• Must be able to understand and relate to specific ideas generally and remember tasks given to self and others over long periods of time.
• Mechanical, electrical, and patient care setting.
• Exposure to loud equipment noise, high voltage, moving parts, hot steam lines, outdoor environment, sawdust, flammable liquids and chemicals kept in the department.

Pay range: $14.00 - $21.56 per hour
