Key Responsibilities- Rebuild, install, and repair structural and finish elements including framing, drywall, and trim after fire or water damage
- Read and follow project plans, insurance scopes, and work orders accurately
- Replace and install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, windows, and flooring to restore properties to pre-loss condition
- Perform structural framing repairs to walls, floors, and roofs as needed for safety and stability
- Hang, tape, and finish drywall; painting, sealing, and finishing work to match existing surfaces
- Collaborate with restoration technicians and other trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) to ensure smooth project execution
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete demolition, rebuild, and finishing tasks
- Follow all jobsite safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lifting protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of carpentry experience (restoration or remodeling experience strongly preferred) - Technical
Skills:
Proficient in framing, fixture installation, door and window hanging, drywall hanging/taping/finishing, and trim work - Restoration Knowledge:
Familiarity with reconstruction following fire, water, damage is a plus - Blueprint Reading:
Ability to accurately interpret project plans, scopes of work, and insurance documents - Craftsmanship:
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision in all work - Physical Requirements:
Able to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and remain on feet for extended periods - Teamwork:
Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude and professional communication skills - Independence:
Capable of problem-solving and completing tasks with minimal supervision - Tools & Transportation:
Must provide reliable transportation (truck preferred) and maintain own set of hand tools - Safety Awareness:
