Job Responsibilities:

Assist NDT Technician with inspections of structures, boilers, or other components and materials in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and procedures.

Assist in the set-up and utilization of equipment for non-destructive testing.

Assist in the identification of defects in materials using testing techniques.

Follow safety instructions diligently.

Support NDT examination techniques by selecting, preparing, loading, calibrating, or operating equipment used in non-destructive testing of products or materials.

Apply basic mechanical knowledge.

Work a demanding and flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and respond to call-outs on short notice.

Travel long distances for extended periods as required.

Lift objects up to 75 pounds on rough or uneven terrains, climb, work at heights, balance, kneel, crouch, stand for long periods, work in confined spaces, and work near hazards including moving mechanical parts.

Maintain a valid driver’s license and insurance.

Ensure all work and materials used are compliant with manufacturer and customer specifications.
