Job Summary
MNC JOBS INFO is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Installer to join our residential construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining windows in new or existing homes, ensuring precise fit, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, assemble, and install windows according to specifications and blueprints.
- Remove old or damaged windows safely and prepare openings for new installations.
- Ensure proper sealing and insulation around window frames to prevent air and water leaks.
- Inspect windows for defects, operational issues, or misalignment, and perform repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate installation schedules and ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and comply with local building codes and regulations.
- Provide guidance to apprentices or junior installers as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in construction or carpentry preferred.
- Proven experience as a window installer or in a related residential construction role.
- Strong knowledge of different window types, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Excellent physical stamina, coordination, and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and installation manuals.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in window installation, residential construction, or carpentry.
- Experience with modern window technologies (double/triple glazing, energy‑efficient windows) is a plus.
- Full‑time, Monday to Friday (flexibility may be required depending on project schedules).
- Occasional overtime may be needed to meet project deadlines.
- In‑depth knowledge of window materials, styles, and installation procedures.
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver heavy glass and frames.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and installation.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair installation issues efficiently.
