Field Service Technician

Location: St Louis, MO
Pay Rate: $22.00-$26.00

Position Summary: Anistar is seeking experienced Field Service Technicians to assist with service tickets, termination, and testing of various voice and data cables, as well as security equipment.

This opportunity offers a pay range of $22-$26/hour, depending on prior low voltage experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Managing service tickets for commercial environments
• Pulling and routing CAT5 or CAT6 cables in new construction and existing commercial structures
• Conducting site surveys of cabling, power, and equipment
• Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
• Pulling, routing, installing, and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in commercial settings
• Preparing and submitting daily reports

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience installing and servicing voice, data, or security systems in commercial environments
• Networking experience with routers, switches, and firewalls
• Ownership of basic telecom tools: punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, safety gear
• Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC standards
• High character and integrity
• Willingness to travel
• Computer skills for report generation
