Base pay range: $38,000.00/hr - $42,000.00/hr actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
Reports To: Directors / Coordinators.
Status: Full-Time / Non-Exempt.
Direct Reports: N/A.
The Facilitator administers the FFSC curriculum to fathers, completes assessments, facilitates group and individual sessions, schedules events, and maintains a calendar for each 6‑week session.
Duties, Functions and Responsibilities- Facilitate and administer the FFSC curriculum and expand knowledge in the FFSC classroom and the Father’s Rap session.
- Administer and electronically enter class attendance into the database.
- Assist clients with personal and professional development.
- Be aware of clients’ personal needs and make referrals as necessary.
- Weekly monitor case management for clients.
- Facilitate all scheduled classroom activities and complete client monthly reporting.
- Develop and maintain a network of community and social service agencies as resources for FFSC.
- Market the program throughout the community (TV, radio, newsletters, newspapers).
- Make personal/home visits and travel to multiple locations or alternate sites as needed.
- Make follow‑up phone calls and perform case management.
- Present curriculum‑based information to community program participants.
- Work some evenings and weekends; participate in team and staff meetings.
- Attend bonding activities to observe parents interact with children (e.g., Incredible Pizza, Six Flags, City Museum).
- Attend community fairs and local events; engage in recruitment and community outreach.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable of current issues affecting families.
- Ability to empathize with clients and align with FFSC’s goals and mission.
- Understanding and practice of the NASW code of ethics.
- Ability to utilize agency and community resources to meet goals.
- Proficiency in presenting curriculum material to large and small groups.
- Team oriented; able to work independently and multitask.
- Familiar with MS Office Suite and general knowledge of legislation affecting fathers.
- High school diploma or GED; associate’s degree preferred.
- Competence in working with men and women needing direction on parenting issues.
- Valid Missouri driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
