Position: Employment Case Manager
Location: St. Louis

Employment Case Manager – Fathers & Families Support Center

Full‑time, non‑exempt position at Fathers & Families Support Center. Base pay $20.00–$22.00 per hour; actual pay based on skills and experience.

Role Description

Identify employment opportunities and conduct job readiness training for all participants enrolled in the program.

Responsibilities
  • Complete detailed needs assessment to determine individual eligibility and identify barriers to employment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with area employers seeking to hire FFSC clients.
  • Assist clients in job search and placement opportunities, providing training in job search and interview techniques.
  • Ensure completion of employment verification forms by graduates and employers.
  • Meet regularly with team to review employment and educational status of participants.
  • Submit regular reports detailing employment status, employer contracts, and client performance evaluations.
  • Provide job leads, post‑employment support, and job retention support to participants.
  • Attend all staff meetings, partner meetings, and community events as required.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of human behavior, performance, and individual differences.
  • Ability to build relationships, establish trust, and demonstrate oral comprehension and problem sensitivity.
  • Resilience, tenacity, high personal integrity, and passion for FFSC mission.
  • Independent work and teamwork with multitasking and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Products; experience with Apricot, Social Solutions, or ETO is a plus.
  • Strong data management and analysis skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Understanding and practice of the NASW code of ethics.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree required;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience working with men needing direction related to responsible fatherhood.
  • Previous experience in career services or job placement.
  • Valid Missouri driver’s license and reliable insured vehicle for transportation.
