Intrinsic is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Software Engineer to join a highly talented development team in building modern online simulation platforms for the Aerospace industry. You will be an integral team member developing an online modeling and simulation software platform that enables end users to train and explore new technology concepts virtually anywhere. Our product team works closely with the end users who are tasked to make the right decision under extreme conditions, our software needs to enable effective decision making.

This is a significant opportunity to implement a product from the ground up and work closely with assembled experts on a dedicated and talented team.

• Develop realistic simulation environment emulating real world systems and platforms
• Develop simulation models for sensors, communications, digital entity movement, AI enabled behaviors, electronic effects, and command and control
• Design, build, and push a new product to an emerging market space
• Work on a dynamic, adaptable, and high performing team
• Rapidly grow your skills with the latest technology
• Deliver high quality product features exceeding client expectations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong C++ 17 or later experience
• Experience utilizing DoD modeling and simulation environments, NGTS, AFSIM, JSE, etc.
• Experience with high performance and multi-threaded programming
• Experience with developing sub-system and system level models
• 2+ years of relevant experience on an Agile software development team
• Experience building, testing and deploying software
• Experience with Git in a team environment
• Desire and interest to learn and grow outside core job requirements

• DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
• Software development experience with C++
• Experience building and shipping products
• Hardware integration and embedded system programming
• Hardware-in-the-loop simulation experience
• Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP)
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
