JAVA Engineer

• Analyze application specifications and technology approaches to ensure business requirements are met and are scalable for future product releases.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Management to recommend future application solutions.
• Produce conceptual design documents and detailed specifications for large-scale and complex projects to reinforce our technical product and architectural standards.

Qualifications

• 4 Year College Degree preferred (preferably in Computer Science or Business).

Experience Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience with the following technologies:
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring, JSF, UML, OOAD, Web Services (SOAP/SOA), and multi-tier software design and development. Comfortable in a Linux shell environment.
• Experience with build systems such as Ant or Maven.

Preferred Experience

• Project experience with JPA.
• Project experience with Web Services (XML, WSDL, XSD, JSON).
• Experience with Ant build system.
• Experience with developing PL/SQL for Oracle DB or Transact-SQL for MS SQL Server is a plus.
