Sr. Software Engineer

The Role:

As a Sr. Software Engineer, you are in an experienced position within the software engineering field. In this role you will

play a significant part in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and contribute to the overall success of software projects.

• Due to federal contract requirements, applicants must be U.S. persons and eligible for a U/S. security clearance

• Lead efforts to gather functional and non-functional requirements and create software representations.
• Adhere to coding standards and best practices while actively mentoring junior engineers.
• Develop both front-end and back-end software components according to design documents.
• Actively participate in team meetings, project planning, and decision-making.
• Assist in the writing of software development considerations for project proposals.
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive product specifications and system integration plans.
• Conduct code reviews and analysis to maintain high-quality code.
• Manage and maintain development environments within increasing technologies known, including cloud and local setups.

• US Citizenship - requirements of our US Government customers
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience in Software Engineering environment
• Strong proficiency in software development concepts and coding. Subject matter expert in at least one programming language.
• Experience with Typescript/JavaScript/React/Redux
• Desire to expand software development skills.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to project planning.
• Commitment to maintaining code quality and adhering to best practices.
• Ability to develop both front-end and back-end software components according to design documents.
