Senior Software Engineer​/Technical Leader

What You Will Be Doing:
We are looking for aSenior Software Engineer/Technical Leaderto join our team that designs and develops software for rapid, high-impact, actionable results in microbiology. The work directly supports patient health and consumer product safety. In this role, you will be part of a global team that develops life-saving diagnostic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in software design, development, and testing.
• Ensure code quality through peer review, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines to optimize delivery.
• Support the team in delivering compliant, documented, and production-ready applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development and deployment environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ yearsof software development experience, with2+ years in CI/CD and Dev Ops.
• Proficiency inJava (Spring, Spring Boot, Tomcat/Jetty) and testing frameworks (JUnit).
• Strong experience withmulti-threaded server-side programming, HTTPS protocol, and Web Services.
• Skilled in relational database design with
  
  Postgre
  
  SQL and JPA/Hibernate.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development best practices.
• Hands-on experience with version control systems (Git/Git Lab).
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Automated testing frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium).
• Scripting with Power Shell, Groovy, or batch scripts.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI), build systems (Gradle, Maven).
• Configuration management (Ansible, Python).
• Windows/Linux administration and virtualization tools (VMware).
• Cloud automation and deployment (AWS preferred).
• Backup/restore tools, package managers (Chocolatey, Nuget).

Pay:$70.00 - $100.00 /hr.
