Senior Java Developer

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Senior Java Developer.

You will join a web development team to help create several new capabilities for customer-facing applications. The work involves new development from a significant project backlog, utilizing a technology stack that includes Single Page Web App and Mobile App clients consuming Java RESTful JSON services with Oracle back-end databases.

• Design and develop new features for customer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Build and maintain Java RESTful JSON services.
• Perform active server-side development within a Java container framework.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the application stack.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver scalable and performant software solutions.

• 6 or more years of experience in Java server-side web development.
• 3 or more years of experience with Java container frameworks, particularly Spring.
• Demonstrated experience with unit testing frameworks, specifically jUnit and Mockito.
• Strong analytical, design, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a development team.

• Experience with Java database frameworks, especially JPA and Hibernate (including Spring JPA).
• Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS frameworks, specifically Angular
  
  JS, Angular, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with responsive design principles.
• Familiarity with relational databases, particularly Oracle.
• Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Proficiency with tools and environments such as Intelli
  
  J, Maven, Tomcat, Mac OSX, Linux, and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with Perl for integration with legacy systems.

$59.50 - $85.00 /hr.
