Lead Developer-Backend Service Development

We have a 6 month contract to hire for a highly skilled Lead Application Development Engineer with 6-7 years of experience designing and implementing backend enterprise solutions using Node.js, Type Script, and AWS. This person brings strong expertise in microservices, event-driven architecture (Kafka or AWS Event Bridge), and API development with proven leadership in guiding development teams. The ideal candidate has experience deploying applications in AWS using Terraform or Cloud Formation, ensures code quality through TDD and CI/CD pipelines, and demonstrates exceptional communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills to drive scalable, secure solutions within an Agile environment.

• Experience designing and implementing data acquisition solution using 3-Tier architecture (Presentation, Application, Data).
• Experience of Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) principles and patterns.
• Experience with micro-services architecture and service orchestration.

• Experience in designing and documenting APIs using OpenAPI (Swagger or similar) specifications.
• Experience in Node.js and Type Script for backend service development.
