Software Developer II – Full Stack (Work Management Software)

Position Overview

We are seeking talented software developers who are motivated, collaborative, and excited to solve complex challenges. The successful candidate will join our Work Management development team, working on a web application that coordinates service orders, crew assignments, scheduling, and equipment needs for utility and broadband members.

Essential Functions
  • Design and build responsive web applications.
  • Stand up RESTful web services.
  • Implement container‑driven development using Kubernetes and micro‑services.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to research, design, and implement new features.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex customer issues and bugs.
  • Perform unit and integration testing as needed.
  • Leverage generative AI tools and technologies to enhance productivity and problem‑solving.
  • Follow established software development methodologies and procedures.
  • Explore and prototype intelligent agent‑based features that enhance user experience or automate workflows.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience and Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in software development.
  • Proficiency with Angular, Type Script or GWT.
  • Experience with Java or other object‑oriented languages.
  • Experience with RDBMS such as Postgres or Oracle.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Kafka, SSO, Cassandra).
  • Proficiency in developing responsive content and performance optimization.
  • Understanding of modern software engineering principles (modularity, cohesion, coupling, etc.).
  • Knowledge of web trends, architecture, and deployment patterns.
  • Experience with automated testing (Unit, Integration, Contract, End‑to‑end).
  • Familiarity with Git branching and merging workflows.
  • Knowledge of Test‑Driven Development and acceptance criteria validation.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo.
  • Experience with agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code, Augment, Jet Brains Junie, Git Hub Copilot, Cursor, OpenAI Codex).

Work Schedule
  • Hybrid schedule: minimum 3 days per week in the office, with ability to work up to 5 days from the office.
  • Required office days:
    Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Desired Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
