Software Engineer V

We provide a variety of technical professionals available for contract, contract to hire, or direct placement positions to companies in and around the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.

• Lead and contribute to a large-scale Service Now platform modernization and reimplementation initiative.
• Design, configure, develop, and deploy Service Now solutions aligned with platform best practices and industry standards.
• Partner with business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to rebuild and optimize platform modules and capabilities.
• Support platform architecture, configuration management, testing, validation, release management, and deployment activities.
• Implement scalable, maintainable solutions that minimize technical debt and improve long-term platform performance.
• Contribute to data modeling, platform governance, and service management best practices.
• Configure and enhance Service Now modules including IT service management, employee experience, portfolio management, software and hardware asset management, governance and risk capabilities, analytics, virtual agent functionality, integrations, and related platform services.
• Participate in architectural discussions, technical reviews, and platform roadmap planning.
• Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on Service Now development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality platform enhancements and solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience developing and administering solutions within the Service Now platform.
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise-scale Service Now implementations, upgrades, or platform transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Service Now development, configuration, workflows, integrations, and release management processes.
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) and other core Service Now platform capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Ability to support testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing platform enhancements.

• Experience implementing or working with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards.
• Experience participating in Service Now platform resets, greenfield implementations, or enterprise modernization efforts.
• Service Now certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other advanced platform certifications.
• Experience with platform analytics, employee experience portals, asset management, governance and risk solutions, virtual agents, portfolio management, or enterprise integrations.
• Previous experience serving in a senior or technical lead capacity.
