Overview

Massage Therapist - Fleet Feet St Louis role at Fleet Feet. Fleet Feet Sports seeks a Massage Therapist who specializes in sports massage therapy and has knowledge of sports injuries, physical activity, and how massage can improve movement and activity. The position reports to the Training Division Director.

Our team consists of approximately sixty payrolled employees and many partners, consultants, and ambassadors.

Our operations include five retail locations, two training studios, and running spots throughout St. Louis.

• Administrative: Manage Vagaro, our business management software for online scheduling of appointments, events and classes, task automation, reporting tools, and customer information database.
• Work with clients to coordinate services and
• Field questions and concerns about Fleet Feet training services.
• Build relationships with current clients and proactively develop new clients.
• Greet incoming inquiries and walk-ins as needed.

• Hands-On: Provide sports massage therapy focused on sports rehabilitation techniques.
• Educate clients on therapeutic care for sports-related injuries that affect activity.
• Conduct group classes related to massage techniques and stretching (e.g., foam rolling workshops).

• Maintain Equipment And Inventory: Monitor and clean massage equipment to licensing standards and schedule maintenance as appropriate.

• Must have successfully completed one of two nationally recognized tests: MBLEX and/or NCBTMB.
• Must be a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of Missouri.
• At least 1 year of applicable massage therapy experience.
• Skilled in advanced body care such as myofascial release (MFR).
• First Aid/CPR certified.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and empathy toward clients.
• Solid physical stamina, including the ability to stand and perform massage up to 25 hours per week.
• Flexible with work hours (early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends).
• Knowledge and/or passion for the running industry is a plus.
