Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Parts Order Picker to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing parts orders, including cutting industrial hose to specification using a chop saw and other power tools. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Position Type & Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
TravelTravel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Responsibilities- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Pick, pull, and prepare parts orders according to pick tickets and work orders.
- Cut industrial hose to precise lengths using a chop saw or other approved cutting equipment.
- Assemble kits and component bundles when required (hoses, fittings, small hardware, etc.).
- Verify order-level accuracy prior to packaging.
- Inspect parts for quality, damage, or defects before order fulfillment.
- Maintain clean, organized picking areas, hose-cutting stations, and tool zones.
- Perform stocking-level support.
- Use warehouse or inventory systems to track orders and materials.
- Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Required to make pick-ups and deliveries to our suppliers for parts and raw materials using a company van.
- Upholds all company Safety and Personnel Policies.
- Upholds ISO 9001:2015 requirements as defined in Hyspeco’s quality procedures/processes.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications RequiredEducation and Experience
- Ability to safely operate power tools, including chop saws, band saws, or hose-cutting tools.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with part numbers and measurements.
- Ability to read pick lists, work orders, and technical part labels.
- Basic math skills for measuring hose and verifying quantities.
- Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience as a parts picker, warehouse associate, or similar role (preferred).
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or handheld scanners (a plus).
- Licensed forklift truck operator.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
$18 - $20 hourly
