Slap Inspector

Job Summary

The Slap Inspection Technician is responsible for inspecting parts or products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. This role focuses on visual and hands‑on inspection, identifying defects, and maintaining accurate inspection records in a fast‑paced production environment.

• Perform slap/visual inspections on parts or finished products
• Identify defects such as cracks, dents, scratches, or surface flaws
• Remove non-conforming parts from production flow
• Document inspection results accurately
• Follow work instructions, quality standards, and inspection procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area
• Communicate quality issues to supervisors or team leads
• Follow all safety policies and company procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs (as required by site)
• Basic reading and writing skills
• Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
