In this position, you will support the Commission's Energy Planning Unit by providing technical and policy analysis related to electric and gas utilities. You will need two to three years of experience in regulatory settings with skills in energy optimization models, such as PLEXOS or Aurora. Preparing reports and communicating findings effectively will be key to guiding decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze utility filings and develop policy recommendations
• Conduct research on regulatory and energy policy issues
• Prepare written and oral reports for stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members on energy planning projects
• Communicate complex findings to decision-makers
Requirements:
• 2+ years in electric/gas utility regulation (2 or
3)
• Knowledge of utility regulatory concepts
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and cloud applications
• Experience with energy optimization models
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
