Data and Policy Director Minnesota

Elevate educational policy and data management as the Data and Policy Director with the Professional Educator Licensing & Standards Board in Minnesota. This full-time, telework-eligible role demands expertise in public policy and legislative processes.

As the Director, you will collaborate with state and national partners, shaping policies that enhance educator standards and licensing. Your leadership will encompass managing data systems, drafting policy recommendations, and facilitating impactful communications. This position is integral to strategic planning efforts led by the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate policy development and research initiatives

• Oversee public data management and reporting efforts

• Engage with cross-sector partnerships to drive policy goals

• Conduct presentations and prepare communication materials

• Analyze proposals and support administrative rule making

Requirements:

• Three years’ experience in government relations or public policy

• Bachelor’s in public policy or related field preferred

• Proficiency in advanced data analysis tools like Power BI

• Proven project management skills

• Strong communication abilities for diverse audiences
