Join Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) as an Automation Specialist and play a pivotal role in managing automation processes in a multi-platform mainframe environment. You will work closely with system programmers and operations staff to support system upgrades, maintain efficient processes, and troubleshoot issues. The role requires expertise in automation tools and scripting to deliver essential services that benefit state agencies and citizens.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage automation tools and processes effectively
• Collaborate with technical teams for system improvements
• Support system upgrades and maintenance tasks
• Participate in disaster recovery activities
• Ensure systems operate efficiently in a 24/7 environment
Requirements:
• Minimum of three years in IT automation roles
• Experience with IBM Hardware Management Console
• Knowledge of CA Automation Point or similar tools
• Strong communication skills for clear understanding
