As part of the Health Economics Program, you will lead pivotal economic studies on health care access and financing. Your expertise will inform key decisions impacting Minnesota's health care landscape while managing hospital moratorium reviews and analyzing expenditure trends. This full-time role requires strong statistical analysis, independent judgment, and the ability to convey complex data insights effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead economic research on health services and financing
• Oversee hospital bed moratorium review processes
• Analyze health provider financial performance and market trends
• Conduct research on workforce and access challenges
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Four years’ experience in health-related empirical research
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., SQL, Python)
• Ability to communicate findings to diverse audiences
• Degree in Economics or related field preferred
• Experience with public policy analysis
