Cost Accountant

LHH is seeking a Cost Accountant to join a dynamic manufacturing organization. This role is critical in analyzing costs, assessing profitability, and providing strategic insights to optimize efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, identify cost reduction opportunities, and ensure accurate financial records. • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard vs. actual costs.
• Maintain and improve cost accounting systems and documentation.
• Collect and analyze data on raw materials, inventory, and labor costs.
• Assist with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost audits.
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve cost efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ERP experience (SAP preferred)
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and GAAP.
• Advanced Excel and MS Office skills.

• Ability to provide new processes from scratch
• Collaboration skills with various teams
• Upfront communication

$100,000-$130,000
