Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) is a tuition-free, online public charter school for students in grades K-12 throughout Minnesota. MNCA is a member of the Minnesota Transitions Charter School (MTCS), a K-12 academic community. MNCA is a state-approved online program operated through a contract with Connections Academy of Minnesota, LLC, to provide the educational program and other services. Position Summary
The Due Process Clerk will be responsible for a variety of daily tasks, including answering phones and emails, maintaining Special Education student records, printing and mailing paperwork, and performing other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Managing Special Education records
- Assisting families and schools with records related inquiries
- Mailing paperwork to families and school districts
- Entering and managing student information into state reporting system
- Assist with MARSS reporting and Third Party Billing-related tasks as requested
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office and web-based applications)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer focused approach
- High degree of flexibility
- Good interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
This position pays an hourly wage starting at approximately $16.50 per hour
