This position is responsible for managing all aspects of parking contracts for external customers, including initiating, renewing, modifying, and canceling agreements. Parking assignments are made in alignment with established policies, procedures, directives, and organizational priorities. The position also handles cash receipts, serves as the primary liaison to Metro Transit, and administers Metropass services for eligible customers. This position coordinates ongoing maintenance and repairs for parking pay stations and supports the safety and security of assigned parking lots, ramps, and garages.
It prepares daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual parking reports and is expected to manage assigned tasks with a high level of independence. Additionally, this position promotes alternative transportation options, provides backup support to scheduler/dispatch staff for tenant services, and performs a variety of administrative and operational support duties, including assistance to the Supervisor and Business Operations Manager.
** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Customer service skill sufficient to interact with customers - in person, over the telephone, or via email - in a courteous, tactful, and diplomatic manner.
+ Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
+ Word processing skills to develop and modify a variety of correspondence, records and reports.
+ Typing/keyboarding skill to accurately compose correspondence.
+ Data entry skills sufficient create records and update entries in a timely manner.
+ Mathematics skills sufficient to process account reconciliations.
** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Knowledge of MS Office Suite
+ Desktop publishing skills
+ SEMA4 experience
+ Knowledge of current office practices and procedures
+ Ability to speak a second language/bilingual
** Physical Requirements*
* Employee must have the ability to traverse between building and parking lot/ramp locations to conduct site visits and assessments. This may include navigating slippery or rough terrain, climb stairs or ladders, and work in low light conditions to visually inspect spaces.
