We are looking for a Project Manager with direct residential remodeling project management experience and Buildertrend experience
. This role is for someone who already understands how remodeling projects move, where they get stuck, and how strong systems, communication, and follow-through keep projects on track.
The Project Manager is responsible for helping Hygge Hus deliver remodeling projects smoothly, clearly, and profitably from handoff through completion.
This person owns day-to-day coordination, planning, communication, documentation, and follow-through. They work closely with the project development, estimating, field, trade partner, vendor, and client-facing teams to make sure scope, schedule, selections, budget information, and project decisions are organized and acted on.
This is not an entry-level construction role, a general admin role, or a role for someone hoping to learn residential remodeling project management from scratch. We are looking for someone who has already managed residential remodeling projects and knows how to use Buildertrend as a real project management tool.
Key Responsibilities- Manage residential remodeling project details from handoff through closeout
- Maintain schedules, files, selections, client communication, to-dos, change orders, and project notes in Buildertrend
- Coordinate with clients, internal team members, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors
- Look ahead to identify schedule conflicts, missing information, lead-time issues, and decision points before they create pressure
- Confirm that scope, selections, allowances, timelines, and key decisions are documented and understood

- Support clean change-order communication, documentation, and follow-through
- Help ensure quality standards, jobsite expectations, safety protocols, and client-home protections are followed
- Assist with punch lists, closeout items, and the final client experience
- Help improve project management workflows, templates, checklists, and systems over time
Please apply only if you have both of the following:
- Buildertrend experience

Technology and SystemsHygge Hus needs someone who is comfortable using software everyday. Buildertrend should be the central source of project information, not an afterthought.
The Project Manager should also be comfortable using tools like ChatGPT to help organize notes, draft communication, create checklists, summarize information, and identify missing questions. AI tools should support better thinking and organization, not replace construction judgment, project accountability, or verified decision-making.
The Right Candidate Will- Use systems instead of relying on memory
- Keep Buildertrend updated and useful
- Communicate early, clearly, and professionally
- Think ahead instead of only reacting
- Stay calm and practical when project conditions change
- Care about craftsmanship, client experience, and team alignment
- Follow through on details without needing constant reminders
- Understand that remodeling requires flexibility, documentation, and judgment
