City Cast is seeking a highly charismatic and curious local talent in Twin Cities to serve as the host of City Cast Twin Cities, its daily local media brand. The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about Twin Cities and loves talking to other locals about the city's many quirks and contradictions. The host will serve as the key voice and face of the local brand across all platforms including the daily podcast, video, and social media and must be excited to explore different points of view about the issues shaping the city.

• Host daily podcast conversations and social media videos that reflect what the city's talking about right now
• Work with the City Cast Twin Cities team to record and create social video content
• Contribute smart and creative topic ideas for the day's conversations across platforms
• Research and prep for each day's conversations
• Serve as a highly visible public ambassador and evangelist for the City Cast Twin Cities brand, representing City Cast at events, in media appearances, and beyond
• Contribute writing and editing to the daily newsletter as needed
• Manage relationships and booking schedules with show contributors
• Collaborate with the audience development manager on social media strategy
• Engage with the brand's audience, members and fans

• A deep passion for the Twin Cities and an appreciation for and understanding of its complexity
• The ability to host compelling conversations about difficult topics, sometimes with people you don't agree with
• Experience producing content for social media
• Charisma, humor, composure, and relatability on mic
• Experience working in a deadline-driven editorial environment

The Host, Twin Cities will report to the Executive Producer, Twin Cities at City Cast. This position is full-time, with excellent benefits. The annual salary range is $80,000-$90,000 depending on experience. You must be local, though work will be primarily remote.
