Position Compensation: $11.50 per hour
Location: University Campus - St. Paul, Minnesota

PositionSummary
To assist the Department of Media Arts with various tasks to prepare for events on and off-campus, specifically the Five
16 Film Festival.
- Provide assistance during department events and both on and off campus recruiting events (transportation provided, as needed)
- Lead a team of students in doing on-campus, grass roots marketing
- Attend weekly meetings with team, as available
- Assist with volunteer recruitment for events
- Create social media posts using various social media platforms
- Communicate with and assist staff, faculty, students, and/or guests
- Assist in general clerical duties
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications- Experience with Instagram and other social media platforms
- Able to interact with a variety of individuals in a professional, tactful and courteous manner
- Maintain a growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, reflect His character in all interactions, and faithfully uphold and embrace Northwestern’s mission, Doctrinal Statement and Declaration of Christian Community
- Independent & Teamwork:
Capable of working both independently and collaboratively, with minimal supervision. - Confidentiality:
Maintains discretion and handles sensitive information appropriately. - Organizational
Skills:
Strong time management and problem-solving abilities; able to prioritize and meet deadlines with attention to detail. - Technical Proficiency:
Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and related software. - Written & Verbal Communication:
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. - Punctuality & Initiative:
Prompt, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting responsibilities. - Background Check:
Must pass background check as a condition of employment.
